Practice and strengthen Hitting
Activity

OPTION 1:Hitting bags. Full body hit -

  • eyes and head up
  • Push into hit with outside leg
  • connect with shoulder and hip (full side)
  • Drive THROUGH target

Practice from both sides approach from rear of pack Practice from front - skate back BEHIND and then hit in Derby Direction

Option 2: Hitting skater instead of hitting bag. Progress to moving skater
