Objective
Skaters will practice jams and test their pack awareness.
Activity
Skaters start up a jam in the regular manner. At some point the trainer will whistle the jam off, all skaters then immediately sit down (safely) and close their eyes.
The trainer now asks a few skaters questions, like:
- Where is your own jammer?
- Where is the opposing jammer?
- Who is your pivot?
- Where is the opposing pivot?
- Who is in your wall?
- What offense tactic would be good to use right now?
- Are you in a position to take a star pass?
- Etc. Get creative!
Once a few questions have been answered, you go for another jam.
