Set-up: Put cones in a line, with a roughly 1.5m distance between.
Drill: Skaters weave through the cones.
On the far ends left/right, the do a hockey stop, so that they face the cones. Then they do a quick power start (with/without use of toe-stops) and skate diagonally towards the other side. The distance traveled from side-to-side can be anywhere between 1m (weave close to the cones) to a full track width, and can vary during the weave.
Skaters will be able to get through a pack of loose blockers by juking from side to side, using hockey-stops and quick starts.
